The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. The role will require use of initiative, as well as a structured and disciplined approach to work. We are looking for a candidate who is able to work well as part of a team, and has the ability to work independently, and calmly under pressure. A degree in art history or modern languages is an advantage, though not essential.

Tasks include: 

  • Monitoring press coverage and creating press cuttings.
  • Generating a weekly calendar of international cultural events.
  • Support in day-to-day operations of the business and office administration duties i.e. answering phones, booking rooms, placing orders, sending post, scanning, printing, organising transport etc.
  • Support with press and image requests

Hours: 9:30am-6pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: Dependent on experience

Job Purpose:

  • To be a clear communicator with persuasive writing skills
  • To manage and keep the existing client base engaged
  • To manage and develop team members to ensure efficient and productive running of the company and contented staff
  • To support the Management team in pursuit and conversion of new business leads


Running of PR programmes & client handling

Beyond the big picture, you are expected to gather information and ideas with the team to build a strategy for any client you are responsible for. It is your responsibility to shape that strategy, deliver it to the client, and to ensure that you and the team are confident in their ability to execute against it. You should support the team in identifying and implementing differentiating stories and angles for them to put into practice.  


Team work:

You are expected to help develop Golden Squared's internal infrastructure and processes to help the business grow sustainably.

You are expected to mentor team members to support their development by giving constructive feedback, fostering a sense of responsibility and pride in their work, and taking the time to give appropriate context so that their understanding is advanced. You are expected to lead by example and create an environment which motivates others to learn and to meet their objectives as well as improve service whilst enjoying their time at Golden Squared Consulting. You are also expected to act as an ambassador of the company at all times. A degree in art history or modern languages is an advantage although not essential.
